Short description measuring system:
The measuring system consists of four laser scanners and one evaluation PC. Any two laser scanners are mounted at both sides of the bridge girder. The lasers measure the stack height in all lanes. With the knowledge (by additional sensor technology for height of stroke measurement) in which height the lower edge of spreader or the container at the spreader is situated, the measuring system can decide if there is a risk of collision. Additionally the topology of the stack is measured permanently. With the topology information time and way optimised driving cycles can be calculated.
